The story takes place in the Korean DMZ, a calm but tension environment where two dissimilar souls are attracted together. Following a formal end to the Korean War, the two Koreas formed Pyeonghwa Village in Goseong, Gangwon Province.

Im Ju Hyeong, a talented pianist seeking relaxation from his arduous job, goes to this refuge. There he meets Ha Na Gyeong, a Ph.D. in Hydroponics and the pragmatic daughter of a high-ranking North Korean official. As they manage their lives in this hamlet built on hope and peace, their common experiences and unexpected ties develop into a moving love tale that bridges the gap between the two worlds.
