Synopsis: 17-year-old Cheng Miao Miao and her 16-year-old brother, Cheng Ya Ya, were born in Linqi Oilfield’s No. 1 Oil Production Plant. Their family consists of three generations of oilfield workers. Their father, Cheng Peng Fei, is an otolaryngologist, while their mother, Jia Dai Yu, handles team logistics. In the late 1990s, the whole family relocated from the northwest to Heping Town, a coastal base. Miao Miao, longing for the outside world, drew her childhood love Li Si and her closest friend Hu Qiu Min, wanting to start the adventure of “going to Hong Kong to welcome the city’s return to the motherland” during her freshman year of high school, but failed.

Her brother, Cheng Ya Ya, traveled to the back mountain for archeology and was almost recognized for a tomb thief. Mother Jia Dai Yu was often anxious, and the siblings started their high school years, which were fraught with chaos. Cheng Miao Miao had a friendship conflict with Li Si. In Cheng Ya Ya’s class, there is a recently transferred student called Yuan Shan Qing, who is the daughter of a wanted criminal. Ya Ya was the first to speak up and reject the hate directed upon Yuan Shan Qing from all sides. The children brought about development in the adjustments.
